Nevada - The Mack

Buongiorno amici! Per la Sveglia Dance di oggi torniamo a pochi mesi fa, facendo in realtà un passo indietro nel tempo molto più grande, perché la versione originale del brano di oggi risale al 1996 e ha quindi compiuto l'anno scorso ben 20 anni! Sto parlando di una vera Hit dei tempi, che oggi torna a risplendere grazie ad una splendida versione Tropical House realizzata dal Producer Svedese Nevada, ovvero The Return of the Mack di Mark Morrison!

Brano che, come dicevo, raggiunse la cima della UK Singles Chart nel 1996 e arrivò al secondo posto della classifica Americana "Billboard Hot 100" l'anno successivo, vincendo anche un disco di Platino, é stato celebrato lo scorso anno in occasione del suo ventennale con una nuova versione Dance (intitolata semplicemente "The Mack") realizzata da Nevada e  a cui ha però partecipato lo stesso Mark Morrison e il rapper Americano Fetty Wap. Si tratta davvero di un'ottima produzione, andata molto bene in diversi paesi anche se non ai livelli dell'originale, e di cui mi piace molto anche il video, pieno di belle immagini e suggestioni... Good morning friends! For today's Dance Wakeup we return to a few months ago, but actually making a much larger step back in time, because the original version of today's track dates back to 1996 and has therefore accomplished 20 years last year! I'm talking about a true Hit of the times, which today is shining again thanks to a wonderful Tropical House version  made by the good Swedish producer Nevada... I'm talking about Mark Morrison's The Return of the Mack!
As I said, this song that was a great success at the time, reaching the top of UK Singles Chart in 1996 and coming to second place on the American "Billboard Hot 100" the following year (winning also a platinum), was celebrated last year for its Twenty Years with a new Dance version (simply titled "The Mack"), made by Nevada and featured by Mark Morrison himself and the American rapper Fetty Wap. This is a really good production, that performed very well in different countries, though not at the levels of the original, and of which I also like very much the video, full of beautiful pictures and suggestions ...
