Buongiorno amici! Partiamo oggi con una Sveglia Dance piena di energia in compagnia di una formazione Australiana che da molti anni dà prova di grande abilità e classe nella produzione musicale, capace di coniugare un sound sicuramente elettronico ad atmosfere e melodie Pop, un connubio molto apprezzato soprattutto negli anni più recenti... Loro sono gli Sneaky Sound System, di cui ascoltiamo una versione "energy" del loro singolo del 2011 intitolato Big!
Questo duo artistico, composto dal chitarrista e produttore Angus McDonald (in arte Black Angus) e dalla bellissima cantante Connie Mitchell, é attivo sulla scena musicale sin dal 2001 con all'attivo 3 album in studio, più diverse altre raccolte di brani e remix.. Sicuramente noti inizialmente più nel mondo Dance Australiano, si sono negli anni affermati come artisti globali, anche con collaborazioni con importanti artisti, tra cui cito Jay-Z, Kanye West o gli Knocks tanto per fare qualche nome. Il brano di oggi l'ho scelto in realtà perché è uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto, sia per il fantastico remix che ne ha realizzato lo Svedese John Dahlbäck, sia per il testo ed il video, davvero molto belli... Let's start today with an energy-packed Dance Wakeup, meeting an Australian group that for many years has demonstrated great skills and class in musical production, able to combine a surely electronic sound with pop melodies and atmospheres, a very appreciated marriage especially on the most recent years ... They are the Sneaky Sound System, which we listen to an "energy" version of their 2011 single Big! This artistic duo, made up of guitarist and producer Angus McDonald (aka Black Angus) and the beautiful singer Connie Mitchell, has been active on the music scene since 2001 producing 3 studio albums plus several other remix and song collections. Certainly initially more known in the Australian Dance scene, they have been established as global artists over the years, even with collaborations with leading artists including Jay-Z, Kanye West or The Knocks, only to name a few. Today's song choice it's really due to the fact that's one of my all-time favorites, both for the fantastic remix made by the Swedish DJ John Dahlbäck, both for text and video, really very beautiful ...
