Praise Cats ft. Andrea Love - Shined on Me

Buongiorno amici! Sono contento che il brano di ieri, forse non estremamente noto, sia stato molto apprezzato e allora chiudiamo questa settimana di Sveglia Dance con un'altra piccola "bomba" Dance proveniente questa volta dal 2002... Un tributo alla House più positiva e dinamica realizzato dal produttore  Americano Eric Miller, leader del progetto musicale Praise Cats di cui ascoltiamo oggi la loro mitica Shined on Me!


Brano ipnotico ed essenziale sia musicalmente che nel testo ("I've got peace deep in my soul - I've got love making me whole - Since you opened up your heart - And shined on me") forse non ottenne mai grandi successi commerciali o di classifica ma lo ricordo bene in quegli anni come ottimo "riempipista", sicuramente grazie alla sua immediatezza che lo rende davvero coinvolgente.

Insomma un brano semplice ma che include sicuramente "l'ingrediente" indispensabile per un brano Dance, ovvero la capacità di coinvolgere  e far ballare la gente... in questo Shined on Me è davvero un piccolo gioiellino! Buona giornata e Buon Weekend amici di Sveglia Dance.... A Lunedi!

I'm glad that yesterday's song, perhaps not extremely well-known, was greatly appreciated and then let's close this Week of Dance Wakeup with another little Dance "bomb" coming this time from 2002 ... A tribute to the most positive and dynamic House music made by the American producer Eric Miller, leader of the Praise Cats music project of which we are listening now to their legendary Shined on Me!
Hypnotic and essential song both musically than in lyrics ("I've got peace deep in my soul - I've got love making me whole - Since you opened up your heart - And shined on me") maybe never got great commercial success or high placements on the charts but I remember it well in those years as a great "dancefloor filler", certainly thanks to its immediacy that makes it really engaging.

In short, a simple song, but that definitely includes the "essential ingredient" for a dance song, the ability to engage and to make people dance ... in this meaning Shined on Me is really a little jewel! Have a Good Day and Good Weekend friends of Dance Wakeup.... See you On Monday!
