Alcazar - Sexual Guarantee

Buongiorno a tutti amici di Sveglia Dance! Proseguiamo questa settimana ancora all'insegna della musica Pop-Dance, sempre poco impegnativa e gradevole da ascoltare, ma tornando indietro sino al 2001, in compagnia di un gruppo che in quell'anno spopolava in tutta Europa con i suoi primi singoli di successo: sto parlando degli Svedesi Alcazar, di cui riascoltiamo oggi la loro Sexual Guarantee!

Formazione nata alla fine degli anni 90 e composta inizialmente dal trio Andreas Lundstedt, Tess Merkel e Annika Kjærgaard a cui si è successivamente unito anche Magnus Carlsson, furono grandi protagonisti della scena Eurodance per diversi anni, pubblicando 4 album e partecipando con successo a diverse edizioni dell'importante festival musicale Svedese "Melodifestivalen", porta di ingresso dell'importante "Eurovision Song Contest". Si tratta di un gruppo quindi con molta notorietà in madrepatria, rimasto attivo (anche se con alcuni anni di pausa e una formazione rimaneggiata) sino al 2011, anno del loro scioglimento, che però non gli impedisce brevi "reunion" in occasione di eventi musicali anche in tempi recenti.
Sexual Guarantee fu inclusa in una seconda edizione del loro primo album "Casino" (2000) e personalmente mi piace di più del loro più famoso singolo "Crying at the Discoteque", non so dire il perché...
