Calvin Harris ft. Ayah Marar - Thinking About You

Buongiorno a tutti! L'artista protagonista della Sveglia Dance di oggi non è sicuramente uno sconosciuto su queste pagine (anzi!) ma visto che si tratta di uno dei miei preferiti la mia scelta ricade spesso su di lui e su un brano della sua ormai piuttosto lunga carriera, che l'ha visto nel 2016 (fonte l'autorevole DJ Mag) al 14 posto tra i migliori DJ mondiali e ancora al numero 1 (fonte Forbes) tra quelli più pagati!

Avrete già capito che sto parlando di Mr. Calvin Harris di cui ascoltiamo un brano dai toni decisamente estivi, per rimanere in tema con questo finale di stagione, la bellissima Thinking About You!


Brano uscito nel 2013 come ottavo e ultimo singolo estratto dal suo terzo album 18 Months, è stato scritto a due mani da Harris e dalla cantante protagonista del brano, la Giordana Ayah Marar, entrando subito nella top ten della "UK Charts" come già avvenuto per i precedenti sette singoli estratti dall'album e rendendo Harris il primo a toccare il traguardo di avere un così alto numero di singoli ai vertici della classifica estratti da un solo album!

Numeri a parte, Thinking About You è davvero un brano dalla bella atmosfera, grazie sia alla musica di Harris, dai toni tutto sommato morbidi, che al buon completamento dato dalla bella voce calda di Ayah Marar... mi sembra quindi perfetto per cominciare bene questa giornata, voi che ne dite?

Today's Dance Wakeup protagonist is definitely not a stranger on these pages (indeed!) but since it's one of my favorites artists, my choice often falls on him and on a track of his rather long career, who saw him in 2016 (source the authoritative DJ Mag) at 14th place among the world's best DJs and still at number one (source Forbes) among the best paid!

You've already figure out that I'm talking about Mr. Calvin Harris of whom we listen to a really summery tune, to stay in the theme with this last steps of the season, the beautiful Thinking About You!

Track released in 2013 as the eighth and last single extracted from his third album 18 Months, was written at two hands by Harris and lead singer of the track, the Jordan Ayah Marar, entering promptly the top ten of "UK Charts" as it already happened for the previous seven singles from the album and making Harris the first one to reach the goal of having so many singles at the top of the standings from a single album!

Numbers apart, Thinking About You is really a delightful song, thanks to soft tones of Harris' music and to the completeness given by the beautiful Ayah Marar warm voice... so it seems to me to be perfect for this day, do you agree?
