Buongiorno amici di Sveglia Dance e bentornati alla mia "pillola" musicale quotidiana!
Questa settimana (in cui probabilmente sarò presente solo sino a Giovedì per motivi lavorativi), vorrei impostarla all'insegna della buona musica (vecchia e nuova), ma che sia anche caratterizzata da una bella carica di positività ed energia, un'aspetto che alla mattina aiuta sempre ad affrontare la giornata (almeno per me è così)!
E cominciamo subito dalla musica "nuova", con un brano uscito nel mese di Maggio del giovane e promettente produttore musicale Svedese Tobias Karlsson (meglio conosciuto come Tobtok), di cui ascoltiamo un brano che a me personalmente fa impazzire, ovvero la sua Rooftops!
Rooftops è una seconda versione di un brano strumentale scritto dallo stesso Tobtok uscito lo scorso anno ed intitolato "Aber", indirizzato principalmente al circuito dei clubs.
In questa nuova versione il brano è stato arricchito da un'ottima linea vocale, che ne è divenuta la vera protagonista, affidata ad un'altro giovane talento, la cantautrice di origine Romena Sorana, che stabilitasi a Londra qualche anno fa ha avuto l’opportunità di dare una grande spinta alla sua carriera musicale collaborando con artisti quali Digital Farm Animals, Blonde e lo stesso Tobtok.
Il brano è andato piuttosto bene quest'estate e, unitamente alla sua precedente versione "Aber", ha superato ad oggi i 3 milioni di plays su Spotify, mentre manca purtroppo un video ufficiale.
Insomma Tobtok è un nome di cui sentiremo ancora sicuramente parlare tra i produttori dei generi Tropical/Nu-Disco/Deep House, in quanto ha già dimostrato, nonostante la giovane età (classe 1992), di avere grande capacità ed esperienza nonchè, a mio modesto avviso, di infondere una grande positività nel suo sound, fattore importante e che chiunque può ben apprezzare in questo brano...

Good morning friends of Dance Wakeup and welcome back to my daily little "music pill"!
This week (where I will probably be present only until Thursday due to working reasons), I would like to set it up with good music (old and new), but also characterized by a good charge of positivity and energy, an aspect that on early morning always helps to face the day (at least for me this is really true)!
And so let's begin with some "new" music, with a song released in May by the young and promising Swedish music producer Tobias Karlsson (better known as Tobtok), of whom we listen to a song that personally makes me crazy, that's his Rooftops!
Rooftops is a second version of a song written by Tobtok himself released last year and titled "Aber", directed mainly to the club circuit.
In this new version, the song has been enriched by an excellent vocal line, which has become the real protagonist, entrusted to another young talent, the songwriter of Romanian origins Sorana, who settled in London a few years ago, taking opportunity to give herself a great boost to her musical career by collaborating with many artists such eg. Digital Farm Animals, Blonde and Tobtok himself.
The song went quite well this summer and, in conjunction with its previous version "Aber", has today exceeded 3 million of plays on Spotify, while unfortunately an official video for this song wasn't planned.
In short, Tobtok is a name we will definitively hear again about Tropical / Nu-Disco / Deep House music producers, as it has already shown, despite the young age (class 1992), that he has great skills and experience as well as, in my humble opinion, the capacity to infuse a great positivity in his sound, an important factor that anyone can appreciate listening to this song.
