Da Blitz - Take My Way

Buongiorno a tutti amici! Proseguiamo questa settimana (vi ricordo breve) di Sveglia Dance dedicata alla musica energetica con il consueto salto indietro nel tempo alla musica degli Anni 90, un periodo che è stato così fertile di generi e stili diversi che risulta davvero difficile scegliere il brano più adatto...

Ma dato che qualcosa devo pur proporvi, ho deciso di restringere la scelta ad un paese da sempre fucina di grande musica, l'Italia ovviamente 😉  scegliendo un brano di una delle migliori formazioni Eurodance di quel periodo i Da Blitz, di cui ascoltiamo oggi una delle loro tante Hit intitolata Take My Way!



Formazione italiana nata a Torino dall'incontro tra Vivian B (nome artistico della cantante del gruppo Viviana Presutti) e il musicista Simon (Simone Pastore), con l'apporto aggiuntivo di altri elementi quali Domenico Capuano e Massimo Gabutti, fu un gruppo che ottenne attorno alla metà degli anni 90 un grande successo in tutta Europa, grazie a diversi singoli come Let Me Be, Stay With Me e questa ottima Take My Way, tutti brani caratterizzati, come dicevo prima, da uno stile di produzione musicale dinamico ed energetico, immediatamente riconoscibile al primo ascolto, anche grazie allo stile e alla voce particolare dell'ottima Vivian B.

Brano uscito nel 1994 in seno all'etichetta musicale Bliss Corporation, già casa di nomi importanti o che lo sarebbero diventati, come Eiffel 65 e Gabry Ponte tanto per citarne un paio, vede infatti partecipare Jeffrey Jay degli Eiffel alla parte "Rap" del brano, completando bene un pezzo già ottimo di per sè e dall'ottimo "tiro".

E Take My Way, come altre produzioni dei Da Blitz, ottenne dei buoni risultati nelle classifiche di tutta Europa, arrivando in Italia sino alla quarta posizione... Non male che ne dite?

Good Morning to you all my friends! Let's continue this week (remember shorter than usual) of Dance Wakeup dedicated to "energy" music with the usual leap back in time to the great sound of the 90's, a period that has been so deeply rich of different genres and styles that's really difficult to choose the most suitable song for today...

But since something has to be done, I decided to restrict the choice to a country that has always been a forge of great music, Italy of course 😉 by choosing a track from one of the best Eurodance acts of that period, Da Blitz, of whom we listen now to one of their many hits called Take My Way!

Italian formation born in Turin from the joining between Vivian B (artistic name of the singer Viviana Presutti) and musician Simon (Simone Pastore), with the additional support by other elements as Domenico Capuano and Massimo Gabutti, was a group that gained around the mid 90's a great success all over Europe, thanks to several singles like Let Me Be, Stay With Me and this great Take My Way, tracks all featured, as I said before, by a dynamic and energetic musical production style, immediately recognizable at first listening also thanks to the great style and voice of the good Vivian B.

This song came out in 1994 under the music label Bliss Corporation, already home of important names or who would become like that in a few years (such as Eiffel 65 and Gabry Ponte just to name a few) and features indeed Jeffrey Jay (member of Eiffel 65) performing the "Rap" part of the track , completing well a song already excellent by itself and really really engaging.

And Take My Way, like other Da Blitz productions, got good results in the charts across Europe, coming to Italy to fourth position ... Not bad I'd say, don't you think so?
